From Zoey's mom:

    Zoey is our fun-loving young Golden Retriever girl with a beautiful balance of playful puppy energy and a sweet, gentle nature. Just a little over a year old, she brings so much joy to our home with her happy spirit and loving personality.

    She enjoys starting her mornings with long walks alongside Mom and Dad and loves spending time outdoors exploring and taking in the world around her. 

    At home, Zoey is always ready to play with her two-legged siblings and is happiest when she’s included in everyday family life. Zoey also loves relaxing in the backyard, watching squirrels, cats, and birds, and when she gets excited, she’s known for her joyful zoomies and laps around the yard.

    Even with her energetic puppy spirit, Zoey has a wonderful off-switch and is perfectly content to settle down and nap in the office during the day, quietly keeping us company. 

    She is incredibly friendly, loves meeting new people, and especially enjoys time with children. 

    Zoey’s sweet demeanor and outgoing personality make her a beloved part of our family.

    Zoey also adores family adventures, including motorhome trips, and she never turns down the chance to beg for a snack or two along the way.

From Rhône's family:

    Little Macaroni was born in December 2024 as Emmylou and Oaf’s “Teal” puppy.  This Teal ball of fluff immediately stole our hearts and we couldn’t be happier having her as part of our family. 

    Rhône loves being with the family, two legged and four alike! She would lay at her dad’s feet all day while he works if she could but then she couldn’t follow the rest of us around. 

    She’ll follow her brother and sister anywhere, always one step behind. When they aren’t around, she’ll find her animal siblings (1 dog, 2 cats), always preferring to be near any of us rather than alone. 

    She can get overly excited whenever any of us gets home, but a simple ‘get your toy’ and she calms down to joyful exuberance with a stuffy to greet you and a wiggly butt to scratch!

    She goes along with any adventure - she would swim in the lake all day if we let her but will immediately jump in the boat when the family loads up. 

    At night, she’ll climb into an empty chair at the campfire just as long as she can be near her people. She happily rides in the backseat when off-roading, though she’d ride shotgun if we let her.  She’s always up for more lowkey adventures like hanging out at old fisherman’s wharf or going for a ride to drop “her kids” at school.  In all of these adventures, she’s never met a stranger, everyone is her best friend! 

    She has silly quirks, like she has always loved cold surfaces. When she was little enough, she’d lay across the fireplace mantle on a hot day.  Now, she finds the closest air conditioning vent and will lay on it until it gets warm.  Then, she’ll move across the room to another one or go find some nice cold tile.

    She’s the sweetest girls with the biggest heart and just a joy to have around.
