I became involved with Golden Retrievers in 2007 when I obtained my first boy, Bailey! CH Sunshine's Dancing With The Law CGC.

He brought me into the wonderful world of dog sports where I have made many friends and gained invaluable mentors. 

I have been in love ever since! 

(Some may say obsessed)

I am a small hobby breeder located in Central California.

All my dogs are AKC registered and have all required health clearances.

I have been a member of the NorCal Golden Retriever Club since 2008 and served as the secretary for many years.  

I am also a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA).

I believe in the GRCA Code of Ethics and the Breed Standard endorsed by the GRCA. I have been active in conformation and overall training, with the long-term goal of producing golden retrievers that "possess the soundness, temperament, natural ability, and personality that are characterized in the standard of the breed", and do everything possible to advance and promote these qualities.

I have been blessed with the guidance of many successful and well known breeders.  This has allowed me to succeed in improving my breeding program through knowledge that has been passed down through many generations.  

I strive to better myself and my program constantly through continued research, education and mentoring.

As a hobby breeder, I am dedicated to ensuring that each puppy I produce is appropriately placed in a loving home who will treat them as a member of their family in the same way that I do.  

My dogs live inside as part of my family and I expect the same from my puppy parents.

  The day it all began.  The day I got my first golden, my Bailey boy.

  I thought it was important to include this story because it has so many meanings.  

  I fell into the world of goldens by chance.  I found a new friend, then many new friends.  I also found a new life this particular day and my heart has never been the same.

  I flew up to Oregon to pick up my boy from Sunshine Golden Retrievers.  I had no idea how much my life was about to change.  I was bringing Bailey and his brother back for my new friend and I.  She was going to introduce me to the world of conformation.  

  You can make of this what you will, be it divine intervention or something else, but Bailey's gotcha day was 07-07-07. ♥

  And here we are.  What a beautiful life!
